Past Finding Out

Romans 11:33

O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!                                                                                               how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

We are learning.

His ways are past finding out.

We are learning that we don’t have it all figured out.

His ways are past finding out.

We are learning that His way is always the better way.

His ways are past finding out.

Even if it doesn’t seem to make any logical sense. at all.

His ways are past finding out.

Even if it feels like you are moving backward.

His ways are past finding out.

Maybe you are completely going in the opposite direction you thought you would be.

His ways are past finding out.

For those of you who have not heard,                                                                                                                                                                our family has made the hard decision not not move to Hawaii.

The details of all of it are not all that important in the big scheme of our life.

(Although if you have questions, our life is an open book.                                                                                                                    Please message, call or stop by! 😉

Over the last year the life of Abraham has come up multiple times.

Long story short:

Abraham was given promises by the Lord He would be the father of many nations.                                                           Millions of descendants.

Isaac was born.                                                                                                                                                                                                            God tells Abraham to sacrifice Isaac.                                                                                                                                                          Abraham is obedient in preparation and leads his son to be killed.                                                                                                        At the last moment, Abraham hears STOP, and his son is spared.                                                                                                 WHAT? Does God change his mind?

He said sacrifice your son, but then said stop?

We have walked this road and it is a tough one.                                                                                                                                              (not with a literal son, but with promises from the Lord)                                                                                                                             A lonely one.                                                                                                                                                                                                                  An unpopular one.                                                                                                                                                                                                    God has instructed us to stop the journey we were on.

He said go. He made a way. And He said stop.

We are so very appreciative to all of you who have supported us financially, prayerfully and just as friends!                   This year has stretched us so much. It has caused us to do a lot of inward inspection.

We have sold most of everything we own and been on several emotional roller coasters. lol                                                    But, He is still good. His ways are past finding out.
